"There’s a time in my day for every Golden Secrets product. If I could only choose one, it's the Aphrodisiac Glow Oil. From the intoxicating smell to the perfect amount of glow & shimmer it gives me, it is magical. I use it as an all-over body glow & it is the only thing I use for makeup. I apply the Youth Beauty Face Oil, and then the Aphrodisiac to highlight my cheekbones, bridge of the nose, and other areas the sun hits naturally."
"This is so tough! If I had to pick just one, I find myself reaching for my Signature Blend Essential Oil Perfume the most. I keep one in my purse and one at home so I am never without it. I absolutely love the scent and I feel a sense of peace wash over me when I apply it and inhale. People will stop me and tell me how good I smell. There is nothing like it."
“I always reach for the Ultimate Glow Trio Kit, it’s my ultimate morning self-care ritual. I love spritzing the Aura Beauty Mist and then applying the Youth Beauty Face Oil before I use my Gua Sha. It’s the only stuff that works on my dry, sensitive skin! I’m truly obsessed!”
“I have eczema-prone skin so my favorite ritual has been jumping in the sauna and brushing my legs, arms, and stomach with the Ionic Copper Dry Brush and then massaging in the Goddess Body Shaping Oil or Womb Wisdom Skin-Toning Oil. My skin always feels so smooth and hydrated after!"
“I love every single TGS product, but I always reach for the Heal All Oil. It truly is the holy grail of skincare. As someone who has struggled with acne-prone skin, the Heal All Oil has transformed my skin drastically. Not only has it healed my acne, but it has changed the texture of my skin and my face feels as soft as silk. It truly is magic in a bottle."

With an EWG rating of 8 (10 being the worst), fragrances can contain 3,500+ chemicals. Trade secret protection shields manufacturers from having to disclose these ingredients on product labels. Instead, you'll encounter the broad terms "fragrance" or "parfum" on the label.
This is why we use natural organic essential oils (zero synthetic fragrances) that work with your body, not against it. I highly recommend downloading the Think Dirty, EWG, or Yuka app to scan or look up your self-care items to see if they are healthy or toxic before use.

I don't wear a tinted moisturizer. If I'm going out, sometimes I'll add a little Jane Iriredale (she's the OG clean makeup) concealer just in the areas that have shadows. I just don't like the feeling of too much makeup and as I’m getting older, I feel it actually ages me. I do have a few good choices on my Amazon Storefront that I’ve linked below. I prefer to wear Youth Beauty and mix it with a little Aphrodisiac Glow Oil for that perfect post-vacay glow.

Of course! We state this on our website & packaging.

Thank you immensely. My journey has been filled with lots of opportunities to practice, but I made a conscious choice long ago – to be the victor rather than the victim. Embracing motherhood at a young age added perspective; I aimed to be the best mom, steering clear of burdening my son with my struggles and instead teaching him the art of navigating challenges with grace and focusing on the positive amidst external adversities. Moreover, my husband, even more positive than I am, has been a constant support, lifting me in times of need. Marrying him has allowed me to embrace vulnerability for the first time in my life and lean on his strength—giving me a sense of safety. His wise words have been a guiding light.
I've compiled all my secrets to cultivating optimism in my Golden Secrets Guidance Cards, each offering profound insights for navigating your career, relationships, health, love life, and more.

Yes. Years ago, when I was still modeling in my 30s, I felt the pressure to keep up with the 20-year-olds I was competing with. Saying that, I don't feel like it made me look younger; I noticed mixed results. I smile with my eyes so it kind of created a ridge under my eyes that I didn't like. I did, however, like that I didn't scowl anymore, especially when having to look directly at the sun for work. I also appreciated that I didn't look worried all the time, and that genuinely had a physiological response to me and how people responded to me.
In 2019, I introduced The Golden Secrets Sorceress Gua Sha Stone, got my Gua Sha certification, and extensively researched its contrasting effects to Botox. Gua sha promotes blood flow and oxygen to the skin, rejuvenating muscles and skin naturally. In contrast, Botox paralyzes muscles and can lead to atrophy, causing the face to sag over time. The principle of "use it or lose it" applies here, as with any other muscle in the body.
Given my commitment to eliminating toxins from my life, especially with my health challenges like RA, multiple hand surgeries, and ongoing efforts to conceive, Botox seems impractical. I emphasize that wrinkles are a natural part of aging, and the normalization of Botox has led younger individuals to believe they need it without considering long-term repercussions.
Currently, I'm embracing my normal wrinkles and focusing on holistic skin health. While I remain open to evolving treatments that work with the body, I recommend that if you do choose to use Botox—opt for minimal amounts and infrequent (1-2x per year) sessions to prevent tolerance or immunity buildup. I've heard of Xeomin as an alternative with fewer complex proteins, though I haven't personally tried it. For those regularly getting Botox, exploring options like Xeomin might be worth considering.

Anything cotton, preferably organic cotton, or natural materials are best. Cotton is one of the most chemically sprayed crops, so organic is preferred (always look at the material content because often it is not just cotton). A small percentage of spandex is common, but steer away if the material content says polyester or acrylic.
HERE are some on my Amazon storefront

Yes, most of them are suitable, especially in the broader context of skincare; my products are unequivocally 100% natural and non-toxic, ensuring safety. Due to the ethical issue of testing on expecting mothers, there are limited clinical studies with pretty much everything, but we can take into account the history of women using herbs, plant botanicals, and essential oils for beauty and health purposes for centuries. However, acknowledging the nuances of pregnancy and nursing, there are specific ingredients, even natural ones, that are best avoided during certain trimesters.
Saying that I have used almost all of my products throughout both pregnancies, except for the Goddess Shaping Body Oil, explicitly marked as unsuitable during pregnancy due to its potent detoxifying properties. As a small business owner, I prioritize an extra-safe approach, aligning with the guidelines of the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) for essential oils. It's worth noting that none of the essential oils listed on the avoid list by NAHA (including Goddess) are present in any of my products. I just prefer to err on the extra safe side.
In a more detailed discussion outlined in a blog post, I wrote [linked HERE], I delve into the significance of formulation and specific usage contexts. Take, for instance, carrot seed oil, which is present in my Youth Beauty Face Oil. While it may appear on some avoid lists, the percentage used in my formulation for topical application is so small. The most concentrated formulas lie within my Signature and Personalized blends, where essential oil percentages decrease exponentially in face and body products.
Although not a complete list, here are my top picks during pregnancy, right now:
—
I prefer using common primary essential oils for diffusing, such as orange, peppermint, lemon, eucalyptus, and lavender. Occasionally, I'll incorporate uplifting scents like Bergamot or festive aromas. However, I advise against using strong oils like tea tree, clove, or cinnamon, especially if you have pets or young children who may be more sensitive.
Additionally, consider the type of diffuser you use. Many diffusers require water, which can potentially lead to mold and compromise air quality. I use an AromaTru [linked HERE], a waterless atomizing diffuser. With no need for counting drops or adding water, it provides pure diffusion wherever and whenever you desire. I use mine every day.

There are things that you can do both externally and internally to minimize and heal dark spots. I wrote an entire blog post that you can find HERE where I get more in-depth on what to do.
Externally, I recommend minimizing or eliminating any skincare product that could make you more susceptible to UV light and hyperpigmentation. Here’s the catch, the exact products that conventional dermotologists recommend for dark spots can make you more susceptible and in a viscous cycle that makes it worse.
Here are some other things:
I do not recommend dermaplaning, especially for those prone to getting dark spots. Those vellus hairs (peach fuzz) are there for a reason: they help protect the barrier of your skin from environmental damage. Without them, you are more susceptible to damage, dark spots, and even bacteria.
Do microneedling once per month to help break up the enzyme involved in the production of melanin. See the at-home tool I love HERE
Do The Golden Secrets Instant Glow Facial Mask 2-3x per week to naturally fade discoloration without disrupting the microbiome of your skin. I love doing this after I microneedle, but it's not recommended if you have sensitive skin.
Practice gua sha with The Golden Secrets Sorceress Stone 2-3 times per week to naturally brighten and smooth the complexion as well as break up melanin production.
Use organic, natural oils that are formulated and work with your skin's natural innate wisdom, not against it. Our Heal All Oil during the day to protect and even the skin tone, and Youth Beauty Face Oil at night to regenerate and effectively fade the appearance of hyperpigmentation.
]]>Slow skincare is within the slow beauty movement and that’s where The Golden Secrets comes in. Global trends indicate that people are demanding transparency in their skincare and beauty products, and that includes: sustainability, clean ingredients, and no use of toxic chemicals. To take it a step further, people want to know WHO is making their products (small-batch vs. manufacturing) and a lot of people are moving away from “fast skincare” and quick fixes and moving to slow beauty and adopting a skincare regimen that takes time, patience, and commitment - but works for the long-term.
Beauty starts with self-care and being gentle with yourself. This includes taking time to eat fresh, seasonal food, working out regularly, following the circadian rhythm, and of course getting into a proper skincare routine. You can use makeup to cover things all day long, but it never looks good if your skin underneath isn’t in a good place to begin with.
Here’s a few simple ways you can jump on the Slow Beauty train and GLOW!
Daily Self-Care: All about carving a few small moments out of each day to practice the kind of mindful self-care and wellness that makes you glow. When practiced over time, these little moments add up to big results - you feel healthier, joyful and more radiant too. My favorite self-care ritual is facial and body gua sha. You can get the Sorceress Stone Ritual Collection HERE and the Sculpting Stone Ritual HERE. (each come with a 40+ page ebook & 2 tutorial videos!)
Simple Skincare: Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need a 10-step skincare regimen; less is more. The Golden Secrets products are multi-purpose for this reason. Instead of wiping and rubbing a bunch of random stuff all over your face, use a few QUALITY clean products CONSISTENTLY and you will start to see results. Just keep in mind the skin takes 28 days to renew so be patient. Slow Beauty is all about working harmoniously with your skin to produce more natural, softer results.
Slow Aging: Slow Beauty invites you to stop feeling dissatisfied with the natural aging process, and simply embrace the beauty of aging gracefully. Aging is a natural process - It’s about how we do it that counts. Nourishing and caring for your skin is surely better than subjecting it to a host of toxins, needles and painful surgeries. And often, the results of natural aging look much better.
Pillars of Health: The food you eat, the way you move your body and how much sleep you get are all intertwined. And of course… these three things have a huge impact on your skin. Basically, a healthy body inside equals glowing skin on the outside. Read my book The Golden Secrets To Optimal Health to learn more.
Unplug: Slow Beauty isn’t just about what you put on your skin, but how you take care of yourself and how you show up in the world. Going inward, slowing down, and being present is a recipe for peace and happiness.
When these five things are done consistently, it adds up to big results - not only in feeling healthier and more joyful, but in achieving true beauty and timeless aging! I encourage you to add these things into your rituals and GLOW

I make sun tea with fresh organic loose-leaf herbs just about every day. Some of my favorites are Nettle, Raspberry Leaf, Oat Straw, Chaga, Hibiscus, and Roobios. I mix them, depending on what my body needs, add filtered water, and steep in the sun until all the beautiful colors have integrated.
Herbal teas are supportive and loaded with nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants for your health and beauty. I highly recommend adding a few to your kitchen cupboard. I prefer loose leaf over tea bags as tea bags can often leak microplastics. Always source from reputable organic companies and store them in glass jars.

Synthetic fragrances are the number one thing that should be avoided, not only in candles but in skincare, air fresheners, laundry detergent, perfume, and so on. The word itself can contain thousands of toxic chemicals such as parabens and phthalates which have been linked to allergies, and reproductive and respiratory issues.
The other thing to avoid in candles is soy because soy is one of the most genetically modified foods on the planet and the off-gas can leach harmful chemicals into your environment.
So, in my opinion, the best candles are made of organic beeswax or coconut and organic essential oils. You can find some great handmade ones on Etsy or make them yourself like I do!

Of course! I love layering all the oils. Each product has its unique benefits, so layering them can give your skin a double dose of goodness. The number one rule for applying oils is to always apply them to damp skin. We recommend prepping the skin with Aura Beauty Mist then you can apply one oil, massage it into the skin, then apply the other or you can mix them into your hands and apply both at once.
Heal All Oil helps to calm sensitive skin and prevent breakouts and various skin conditions like rosacea and eczema and Youth Beauty instantly revitalizes the skin with a powerhouse of nutrient-dense vitamins and minerals to target aging skin.

To Moisturize - Dry, dehydrated, dull skin seeking an anti-aging boost of nourishment, try the Youth Beauty Face Oil. Oily, acne-prone, sensitive skin that needs overall skin barrier support, try the Heal All Oil.
To Hydrate - Aura Beauty Mist is the ultimate skin hydrator with tremella mushroom, red arctic algae peptide, and floral essence. Best optimal results: use before you moisturize.
To Treat - Our Instant Glow Facial Mask is in a league of its own. It comes with our gold application brush so that you can mix your mask on demand, giving you the freshest, most efficacious mask possible. Helps with fine lines, wrinkles, acne, acne scars, and sagging skin.

As we usher in a new year, the promise of a fresh start beckons, bringing with it the age-old tradition of setting resolutions. However, making resolutions is one thing; making them stick is another challenge entirely. In this blog post, we'll explore practical strategies to help you craft resolutions that endure and guide you towards a successful 2024, so get your Ritual Journal out and let's start:
Reflect on the Past Year: Before diving into the future, take a moment to reflect on the past year. What worked well? What challenges did you overcome? Identifying your achievements and areas for growth provides a solid foundation for setting meaningful resolutions.
Set Clear and Attainable Goals: Avoid the trap of vague resolutions by defining clear, achievable goals. Instead of saying, "exercise more," specify a realistic target like "exercise for 30 minutes, three times a week." Concrete objectives make it easier to track progress and stay motivated.
Prioritize and Focus: While it's tempting to create a laundry list of resolutions, narrowing your focus increases the likelihood of success. Select a few key areas that align with your values and priorities. This focused approach allows for deeper commitment and more profound impact.
Break Down Goals into Manageable Steps: Large goals can be overwhelming. Break them down into smaller, manageable steps. If your resolution is to learn a new skill, outline specific action-steps like researching classes, setting aside time for practice, and seeking mentorship.
Create a Plan: Once you've identified your goals and broken them into steps, create a plan of action. Develop a realistic timeline, allocate resources, and establish checkpoints for evaluation. A well-structured plan enhances accountability and keeps you on track.
Share Your Resolutions: Accountability is a powerful motivator. Share your resolutions with friends, family, or a supportive community. Discussing your goals not only solidifies your commitment but also opens avenues for encouragement and collaboration.
Embrace Flexibility: Life is dynamic, and circumstances may change. Be open to adjusting your goals as needed. Flexibility doesn't equate to failure; it demonstrates adaptability and a commitment to your overall well-being.
Celebrate Milestones: Recognize and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small. Milestones signify progress and reinforce positive behavior. Treat yourself to a small reward when you reach a checkpoint—it's a great way to stay motivated.
Learn from Setbacks: Setbacks are a natural part of any journey. Instead of viewing them as failures, consider them opportunities to learn and readjust. Reflect on the reasons behind the setback, adapt your approach, and continue moving forward.
As you embark on the journey of crafting resolutions for 2024, remember that success lies not just in setting goals but in the commitment to see them through.
This is one of the reasons I created my Golden Guidance Cards. They stand as one of my most valuable offerings—an accumulation of years of wisdom that you can revisit whenever needed. They are your companions in making lasting resolutions, gaining clarity, forming actionable plans, and steering you toward a year of personal growth and fulfillment. Here's to a prosperous and transformative 2024!

Whether it's a revitalizing boost in the morning or a calming ritual in the evening, incorporating red light therapy into your routine is what matters most. With nearly two decades of personal experience in red light therapy, I've adhered to guidelines from industry pioneers.
A crucial aspect is applying it to clean, dry skin. While trendy TikTok videos may showcase the therapy with products, it's important to note that this might not only deflect the red light but could also lead to hyperpigmentation.
For optimal effectiveness, I recommend using red light therapy every other day. This interval, as advised by industry experts, is considered more beneficial than daily use, as it prevents potential counterproductivity to the healing process. Consistency, coupled with the right practices, ensures you harness the full potential of red light therapy for a radiant and healthy glow.

This is something you do not have to worry about with our lash serum, and it's one of the reasons why we created it. The most common and popular lash serums on the market contain prostaglandins - hormones that can indeed help make your lashes grow longer but not without potential side effects such as hair loss, eye color change, and fat loss around the eyes- giving a sunken, aged look. Our Lash serum is formulated without hormones but with three of the most promising peptides for lash growth and plant extracts that support the long-term health of your lashes. I wrote an entire blog post on this topic when we launched. You can read that HERE and learn more about Long Lash HERE.

All the products that I use on my face; Aura Beauty Mist, Youth Beauty Face Oil, Heal All Oil, Instant Glow Facial Mask, and the beauty tools. I also use it around my eyes. These products contain key ingredients like Retinoic Acid, Tremella mushroom, peptides, and powerful antioxidants, all chosen to enhance the skin's texture and reduce the signs of aging, particularly around the eyes.
To maintain the youthful appearance of the eye area, gentle cleansing practices are essential, as well as avoiding any harsh rubbing or tugging when removing eye makeup. For this purpose, I highly recommend our Cleansing Ritual Kit, not only to protect your lashes and brows but also to pamper your skin and delicate eye area.
For a holistic approach to maintaining a youthful look, incorporating regular eye exercises and facial yoga techniques can be quite effective. These exercises help strengthen the muscles surrounding the eyes and reduce the appearance of crow's feet.
Furthermore, our Gold Firming Face Wand, used in conjunction with gua sha practices and sonic vibration therapy, has proven to work wonders on the skiDedicatinging 5-15 minutes to this routine can yield remarkable resullastingast up to 24 hours.
Remember, maintaining skin health goes beyond topical treatments. Staying hydrated and considering overall well-being are equally vital aspects of a comprehensive skincare regimen.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), specific facial features and lines are believed to reflect the health of internal organs. Crow's feet, those fine lines around the eyes, are often associated with the Liver's health in TCM.
According to TCM principles, the Liver plays a crucial role in regulating Qi (vital energy) and blood flow in the body. Imbalances or stagnation in Liver Qi can manifest as various external signs, including wrinkles and eye lines. Stress, emotional imbalances, and lifestyle factors can all impact the Liver's function in TCM.
It's important to emphasize that TCM views the body holistically, recognizing the interconnectedness between different organs and systems. Therefore, addressing Liver imbalances, along with other relevant organs and systems, is often a fundamental aspect of TCM treatments aimed at improving the appearance of crow's feet and enhancing overall health and well-being.
TCM practitioners employ various approaches, including acupuncture, herbal remedies, dietary adjustments, and lifestyle modifications, to harmonize Liver function and address the root causes of skin issues like crow's fee. Suppose you're intrigued by the potential benefits of TCM for skincare concerns. In that case, ns, I recommend consulting a licensed TCM practitioner who can offer a personalized assessment and treatment plan tailored to your unique health and needs.

For years, the beauty industry has peddled a narrative, one that sells us both the problem and the solution. It's a cycle where products that promise to fix issues often exacerbate them, leading to a continuous loop of searching for remedies. I firmly believe that the core issue lies in this approach – it's time to get to the root cause once and for all.
The truth is, our skin possesses innate intelligence, a remarkable ability to thrive when we embrace simplicity and the right non-toxic ingredients. The biggest misconceptions of traditional skincare practices include:
My guiding principle has remained unwavering: Nature first. I firmly believe that the closer we align our skincare routines with the natural world, the more enduring our skin's health and radiance will be in the long run.

Beyond The Golden Secrets, I've observed impressive outcomes from additional treatments such as micro needling, red light therapy, and the internal supplementation of collagen and vitamin E
Each of these approaches, whether through our products or other treatments, offers valuable support to those on their journey towards healthier, scar-free skin.

]]>Our Goddess Shaping Body Oil is a divine companion in this sacred ritual. Crafted to tone the breasts, enhance blood circulation, and promote prolactin secretion for fuller, firmer breasts, it goes beyond mere skincare. By supporting the lymphatic system crucial for immune defense and cancer prevention, it elevates breast health to a higher plane. We invite you to connect with the essence of self-love and prioritize your breast health through regular massage with our Goddess Shaping Body Oil.
Diving into the practices rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, breast massage is revered for increasing circulation, fostering the healthy flow of blood and energy through the body. In Western medicine, it is acknowledged for promoting lymphatic flow and drainage, both contributing to perky, full breasts and preventing sagging.
This act of self-love not only soothes and heals but also triggers the release of anti-aging hormones—prolactin, oxytocin, and estrogen. Regular self-massage empowers you to take charge of your breast health, fostering an intimate connection that enables you to detect any anomalies early.
Here's a simple ritual to incorporate into your routine:
Post-shower or bath, when your skin is receptive, apply a few drops of our Goddess Shaping Body Oil. Nude from the waist up, warm the oil in your hands and begin gentle, clockwise circular motions, ensuring to cover the entire breast area. Raise your arm to access the breastbone area. Continue for one minute, then push towards the armpit. Repeat on the other side.
For a nurturing alternative, especially during sensitive phases like pregnancy or breastfeeding, our Womb Wisdom Skin-Toning Oil offers regenerative nourishment. Designed to honor the various phases of a woman's life, it promotes natural elasticity and skin regeneration, embracing you with a soothing aroma of organic essential oils.
Indulge in these moments of self-care, embracing the profound connection between ritual, natural skincare, and the timeless wisdom of your body.

Pearl Powder I love using pearl powder internally and externally. It is known to brighten the skin from within, creating a radiant glow and minimizing hyperpigmentation.
Collagen - Collagen is the glue that holds everything together. I recommend taking it in combination with Vitamin C for optimal assimilation.
Vitamin E - Vitamin E is a major lipid-soluble antioxidant that scavenges free radicals and is generated by lipid peroxidation of polyunsaturated fats (PUFAs) and prevents oxidation, not only in skincare but in your body.
Vitamin C - Vitamin C aids in collagen production and antioxidant protection, brightening the skin from the inside out.
Spermidine - This is a less commonly known supplement that is quickly becoming all the rage for a variety of health benefits and anti-aging effects. For skin, it is said to have high antioxidant and moisturizing properties that help retain skin hydration and improve skin barrier function, resulting in smoother and more supple skin.

]]>As the vibrant hues of summer start to fade and the crisp air of autumn settles in, it's essential to focus on strengthening your immune system to ward off seasonal ailments. One holistic practice that can help fortify your defenses is Gua Sha. This ancient technique, rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, not only promotes vibrant skin but also aids in overall well-being. In this guide, we'll explore how Gua Sha can be a powerful tool to support your immune system as we transition into the fall season.
Before we delve into the specifics of Gua Sha, let's briefly understand the immune system's role. It serves as the body's defense mechanism against harmful invaders like viruses, bacteria, and toxins. A robust immune system is crucial for maintaining good health, especially during seasons when these invaders are more prevalent.
Gua Sha is an age-old technique that involves scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool to improve circulation and stimulate the lymphatic system. Our stones are made from Bian Stone, which is the same stone that body scraping was invented from in ancient times. It has over 40 trace elements and 20 of them are anti-aging and necessary for optimal health. While gua sha is well-known for its beauty-enhancing effects, its ability to support the immune system should not be overlooked.
Gua Sha promotes lymphatic drainage, which plays a vital role in the immune system. The lymphatic system transports immune cells, removing waste and toxins. By using Gua Sha, you can help ensure that this system functions optimally, aiding in the body's defense against illnesses.
Chronic stress weakens the immune system. Gua Sha, when applied gently and mindfully, can induce relaxation, reducing stress levels. This calmer state allows the body to allocate more resources to its immune functions.
Enhanced blood circulation through Gua Sha means nutrients and oxygen are transported more efficiently throughout the body. This supports the overall function of immune cells and helps them respond quickly to threats.
Here's how you can incorporate Gua Sha into your autumn wellness routine:
You'll need one or both of our gua sha tools for face & body as well as one of our face and body oils to allow the tools to gently glide on the skin.
For the face: Apply Aura Beauty Mist, then while the skin is still damp apply Youth Beauty Face Oil or Heal All Oil.
For the body: After the shower, while the skin is still damp apply your favorite TGS body oil oil to create a smooth surface for the Sculpting Stone to glide.
Goddess Shaping Body Oil = Detoxifying
Heal All Oil = Healing
Womb Wisdom = Nurturing
Begin by gently scraping the chest, neck, and upper back to clear lymph, move blood and reduce inflammation.
Pay extra attention to areas that are sensitive and where lymph nodes are located, like behind the ears and under the jaw.
Incorporate this practice into your daily or weekly self-care routine for the best results.
As autumn arrives, it's essential to prioritize immune support. Gua Sha offers a holistic approach that not only enhances your skin's appearance but also strengthens your body's defenses. By promoting lymphatic drainage, reducing stress, and improving blood circulation, Gua Sha can be a valuable addition to your immune-boosting arsenal. So, embrace the beauty and wellness benefits of this ancient practice as you transition into the vibrant and cozy season of autumn. With your purchase of either Gua Sha stone you receive a 40-page ebook and video tutorials to teach you everything you need to know about your new favorite holistic ritual.

I don’t wear foundation. I mix Youth Beauty and Aphrodisiac together to make a beautiful natural glow. Sometimes I will use a little concealer under my eyes and around my nose. I like Jane Iredale. I believe that when you focus on good skincare then you won't need as much makeup to “cover’ things up. So many people cover up their natural glow and then layer a bunch more makeup to fake a natural glow; it's complete madness. Saying that, some of the best makeup artists in the world swear by mixing our Youth Beauty with a few drops of foundation, so if you have one that you like, give it a try!

Instant Glow Facial Mask is definitely my number one for targeting the neck, but I also use the Dynamic Duo and cleanse with Heal All Oil. All of these together are a powerhouse that create real change.
Let’s get back to the Instant Glow Facial Mask though. This mask is a deeply purifying powder mask with intensely active and potent tonifying ingredients. Pore-purging beauty minerals, vitamins, compounds, and over 600 antioxidants to neutralize free radicals, reduce sagging, improve elasticity, smooth wrinkles, and brighten the skin. Over time, it improves firmness, evens skin tone, diminishes hyperpigmentation and age spots. And here's the best part-formulated with minerals that actively facilitate neurotransmitters shown to diminish sagging skin by firming & tightening its appearance from within, going beyond the surface. Taking the concept of going "beyond the skin" to another level. A few months back, I noticed crepiness on my neck for the first time. For years, I neglected to bring product past my jawline so I'm having to make up for it now. I applied this mask every night for two weeks, and the results were incredible. I saw a noticeable change when I looked in the mirror and in my pictures. I continue to consistently use this mask on my face, neck, and chest 2-3x per week.

It depends on what you are trying to accomplish and target, but overall my favorite body oil for all-over everyday moisturizer is Womb Wisdom Skin-Toning Oil.
Don’t let the name deceive you. This is not just for pregnancy. It was developed with pregnancy in mind, helping with itchy, stretchy skin and to prevent & reduce stretch marks. But it encourages natural elasticity and boosts skin regeneration for a more smooth, clear, ageless glow.
I’m currently obsessed with this oil, and so is my husband. When I’m in the sun, I mix it with Heal All Oil or Aphrodisiac for that extra glow.

The lash growth cycle consists of three main phases. The first phase is the Anagen phase, also known as the growth phase, where lashes actively grow from the hair follicles. This phase typically lasts between 4 to 6 weeks, and during this time, new lashes form and gradually push out the old ones. The second phase is the Catagen phase, also known as the transition phase, which lasts for about 2 to 3 weeks. In this phase, the lash follicles shrink and the lashes stop growing. The final phase is the Telogen phase, also known as the resting phase, which lasts around 6 to 9 weeks. During this phase, the old lash sheds naturally and makes way for a new lash to begin its growth cycle. It is important to note that each individual lash may be in a different phase of the growth cycle at any given time, resulting in a continuous but staggered pattern of lash growth and shedding.
Long Lash starts working from the very first application!
Our advanced formula works with your lashes' natural growth cycle, providing noticeable results that vary depending on where your lashes are in their growth journey when you start.
For some, the results may become visible sooner, while others may require a bit more patience as all lashes go through their complete growth cycle. That's why we recommend faithfully applying Long Lash every day, twice a day, for a full 16 weeks for maximum results.
Remember, proper usage is crucial to achieving the results you desire. Follow the instructions diligently, and embrace consistency as the key to unlocking the stunning results you've been longing for.

Having been through lots of hard times, I have definitely developed some tools that have helped tremendously. Number one being and realizing that the lessons never end; we just have to become better students. Mindset and how we choose to perceive and look at things are everything. We can choose to focus on the positive or the negative, taking into consideration that the frequency that you are putting out right now is an indication of what your future will look like. When you realize this, you start to see every obstacle as an opportunity to see the good.

]]>At The Golden Secrets, we are dedicated to creating skincare products that are crafted with natural, non-toxic, truly-clean ingredients. Our formulations are thoughtfully designed from seed to skin to be protective, nourishing, calming, and supportive to your entire body. However, you might be wondering why we do not have the "certified" USDA organic seal on all of our products.
While we share the same commitment to providing you with the best nature has to offer, we have chosen not to pursue organic certification (for now), and here's why.
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has specific rules and requirements that must be met for a product to be approved and labeled as organic. These rules apply to both food and personal care products. Here are some of the key criteria for the USDA to approve a product as organic:
Organic Ingredients: The product must be made of agricultural ingredients, and at least 95% of these ingredients (excluding water and salt) must be certified organic. Organic ingredients are those that have been grown and processed without the use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, genetic engineering, irradiation, or sewage sludge.
Non-Organic Ingredients: If the product contains non-organic ingredients, they must comply with the National List of Allowed and Prohibited Substances, which outlines the specific non-organic substances allowed in organic products.
Certifying Agent: The product must be certified by a USDA-accredited certifying agent. These certifying agents are third-party organizations that verify the product's compliance with organic standards and conduct inspections of the facilities and processes.
Labeling Requirements: If the product contains 100% organic ingredients (excluding water and salt) and all processing methods used to make the product are 100% organic, it can display the "100% Organic" label. If it contains at least 95% organic ingredients, it can display the "Organic" label. Products with at least 70% organic ingredients can label their product as "Made with Organic Ingredients," but they cannot use the USDA organic seal.
Plus, the USDA organic seal is primarily designed for farm-raised ingredients and has limitations when it comes to personal care products. For instance, plant-derived ingredients and essential oils, which we adore, are not typically regulated under the USDA program.
Additionally, the standardized guidelines for personal care products from the USDA lacks comprehensive regulation and oversight, often resulting in limited control over the safety and effectiveness of these products. Various organic certification organizations exist, each with its own set of standards, making it challenging for both us and our customers to interpret what each seal means.
As you can see an organic certification involves a lot more than simply meeting the requirements. While our ingredient suppliers are USDA Organic certified, obtaining the organic label for ourself entails a lot of additional expenses and as a small company we would rather spend the money on the best ingredients possible, rather than proving that we did. We strive to keep our products accessible to all without passing on unnecessary costs.
Seeking organic certification from external organizations would require a significant investment in time, paperwork, and annual fees. We believe this effort would be better spent on maintaining our own stringent standards for ingredient quality and sourcing. This is why we are transparent about every single ingredient we use.
At The Golden Secrets, we are confident in the efficacy and purity of our products. Our ingredients are carefully selected for their superior quality, and like I said, many of them are sourced from suppliers who are USDA Certified Organic as well as Certified Fair Trade, Certified Kosher, Ecocert Verified, and more. Additionally, we are Leaping Bunny Approved, have won numerous Think Dirty Awards and our Heal All Oil is EWG Verified, which is the strictest criteria for transparency and health for ingredients and manufacturing practices.
Our mission is to earn your trust through full transparency and by delivering products that truly benefit your skin. We focus on developing formulations that are effective, safe, and kind to the environment.
While we understand the value of organic certification, we have chosen to adhere to our own set of guidelines and uphold our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional skincare without the need for a USDA Organic certification label.
If you are curious about the safety and health of your personal care products, we highly recommend using reputable third party websites and apps like Think Dirty, Yuka, and EWG to scan your favorite personal care products at home to make sure that they are indeed safe.

The top three things that can wreak havoc on the skin barrier are:
1 Using products with irritants: Certain ingredients can irritate the skin and disrupt the barrier function. Common irritants include alcohol, fragrances, certain preservatives as well as too many actives at once. Always read the ingredients on the box; many of these are found even in "natural" skincare.
2 Overwashing with harsh soaps and cleansers: Cleansing the skin is essential, but over-cleansing or using harsh cleansers can strip away the skin's natural oils and disrupt the protective barrier. This can result in dryness, irritation, and a compromised skin barrier.
3 Over-exfoliating: Exfoliation is beneficial for removing dead skin cells and promoting a healthy complexion. However, using harsh or abrasive exfoliants too frequently or aggressively can cause micro-tears in the skin, leading to inflammation, sensitivity, and a weakened skin barrier.
The skin was designed to keep more things out than in. The outermost layer of the skin called the epidermis, consists of tightly packed cells that act as a physical barrier. This layer helps prevent the entry of foreign substances, such as bacteria, viruses, and harmful chemicals, into the body. When this is disrupted, acne, uneven skin tone, rashes, wrinkles and more can occur.
If you are experiencing a disrupted skin barrier, I recommended going back to the basics and resetting your skin with our Hydrate & Heal Duo. Cleanse with Heal All, tone with Aura, and re-apply Heal All to moisturize. Do this for two weeks before slowly adding other products.
—
Here are three things that you can start today:
1 Ice plunge for your face. HERE is a video of me doing it. I do this almost every morning. The cold water causes vasoconstriction, which temporarily tightens the blood vessels and reduces blood flow to the area. This can help the pores appear smaller, ease inflammation, and give you a natural glow. It is also said that you can receive some of the same benefits as cold plunging your whole body.
2 Aura Beauty Mist to tone the skin. Instead of misting Aura directly onto the skin, apply to a round cotton pad and apply on the t-zone or where you are experiencing large pores. Aura contains anti-inflammatory and astringent properties like Magnolia Bark that can help shrink the appearance of pores over time.
3 Exfoliate and mask: Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells and unclog pores, making them appear smaller. The Instant Glow Facial Mask exfoliates the skin while reducing pore congestion. Apply the Instant Glow Facial Mask as usual but before removing the mask, get your fingers wet, and begin to massage the t-zone area to gently exfoliate. Do this for about one minute before removing it as usual. You will notice an immediate improvement, which will continue to improve with each use.

Yes, of course. Lately, I have been using Womb Wisdom Skin-Toning Oil, which is formulated with incredibly effective, organic, stable oils that safeguard the skin from damage. Perfect for the outdoors, but when I know I am going to be outside for a while, there is nothing better than Heal All Oil.
Several studies have now been conducted into Tamanu oils' protective abilities, including one published in 2007 that demonstrated that it had a solar protection factor up to 18-22. The researchers were able to show that even in concentrations as low as 1%, Tamanu oil could protect against 85% of the DNA damage inflicted by the sun.
I also love to mix these two together. Heal All Oil can be very thick and when mixed with Womb Wisdom, not only does it make a powerhouse duo, but it's also an easier application.

I always say that our skin is a direct reflection of what is going on internally. So it is not uncommon to experience visible skin changes as your hormones shift and find their new normal. I wrote a blog post HERE that specifically talks about acne and all the things you can do both internally and externally to get glowing, confident skin. I also recommend seeing a naturopath who can help you balance your hormones internally in a holistic way.

Diminishing cellulite can be a multi-faceted approach, and while there is no guaranteed method to completely eliminate it, there are steps you can take to reduce its appearance.
Here are some strategies that may help:
1 Maintain a healthy diet: Focus on a balanced diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats. Avoid excessive consumption of processed foods, sugary snacks, and drinks. Staying hydrated is also important.
2 Engage in regular exercise: Incorporate both cardiovascular exercises and strength training into your fitness routine. Cardio workouts can help burn calories and improve circulation, while strength training can tone and firm the underlying muscles.
3 Stay active and move frequently: Avoid prolonged periods of sitting or standing in one position. Take breaks and incorporate movement throughout the day to improve circulation and prevent fluid retention.
4 Dry Brushing: Dry brushing involves gently massaging the skin with a dry brush in circular motions. This practice can help improve circulation, exfoliate dead skin cells, and enhance the appearance of the skin.
5 Body Scraping: Body gua sha can help stimulate circulation, reduce fluid retention, and improve the appearance of cellulite.
6 Goddess Shaping Body Oil: Goddess is a full-body nectar composed to prevent and correct the appearance of stretch marks and cellulite. Stimulates circulation to aid in proper metabolic function, detoxifying both the physical & mental body, strengthening the skin, and relieving mental fatigue and emotional stresses caused by lack of self-love. This is best used in combination with dry brushing and body gua sha.

Q1: What is your ideal daily AM/PM skincare routine?
*Then once or twice a week I incorporate the Instant Glow Facial Mask as well.

Q2: Any hair product tips?
1. Use all-natural, non-toxic, sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner that is free of parabens, silicone, phthalate, gluten, and synthetic fragrances. I share all my faves on my Amazon storefront.
2. Try to let your hair air dry more often and wash it less often too. If you feel like your hair is too oily, you just need to re-train it. Don’t wash it for ten days to let it reset. It will stop producing as much oil. Wash once maybe twice a week with good clean shampoo. Internally Live Silica is fantastic for hair, skin, and nails. You can find that HERE. I also love collagen and make sure your getting enough copper in your diet.
3. I swear by Heal All Oil hair masks 1x per week. When Heal All Oil is used on the scalp, it encourages stronger, longer, and healthier hair growth, addresses hair loss, hydrates the strands, brings out hair’s natural sheen, and helps with easier manageability. I have an entire blog post on this and how to HERE

Q3: Is there Vitamin C in the Youth Beauty Face Oil?
Yes! In fact, Youth Beauty has 15x more vitamin C than oranges, 3x more Vitamin A than carrots, vitamin E, and anthocyanins that penetrates deep into the layers of the skin.
Youth Beauty strengthens the skin, repairs oxidative damage, hydrates, and promotes the formation of collagen - a structural protein essential for youthful skin.
This is why 100% of our customers see an overall improvement in their skin's appearance, enhanced glow, and radiance - with continued results each week.
—
Q4: How long does the lash serum last?
One bottle is a 3 month supply and depending on the hair growth cycle that you are in when you start, you could see results in as little as 2 weeks, although most people start seeing results in 8 weeks and the full effect takes 16 weeks. Consistency is key for optimal results.
I also created a dedicated FAQ section at the bottom of the Long Lash Growth Serum product page to answer some of the most common questions.

Q5: I'm 38. What do I use on a growing belly to avoid stretch marks?
100% Womb Wisdom Skin-Toning Oil!
Womb Wisdom is formulated with incredibly effective, organic, stable oils that safeguard your skin from damage and quickly melt deep into the skin’s layers creating a protective barrier that seals in moisture to relieve itchy, stretchy skin and prevent & reduce stretch marks.
Womb encourages natural elasticity and boosts skin regeneration for a more smooth, clear, ageless glow. Lightly scented with organic essential oils to calm and protect the auric field so that you can embody the sacred cycle you are in.
At The Golden Secrets, we choose models that not only love and use The Golden Secrets but embody the Golden Secrets Lifestyle in real life.
model, athlete, avid surfer, traveler, wellness seeker, lover of nature
Being that skin is the largest organ of the body, I think it provides so much information about our overall health (inside and out). So skincare, to me, is taking care of my body internally and externally. Whether that means using only natural oils on my face (once you go Golden Secrets, you just don’t go back), staying hydrated with natural spring water, or making sure I’m making conscious efforts to eliminate toxins in my food or home.
1. I’m realizing now, as a 31 year old model, that the less time we fixate on our appearance and try to trick time, the less stressed we become. Allowing a sense of flow in life and learning to enjoy what feels better than running after something we are not. And trust, that internal joy turns into an external glow no amount of makeup or Botox will ever come close to emulating.
2. I’m sure you’ve heard this one before but it’s for a reason- prioritizing sleep! For me, this is a big one. I’ll notice a difference with just one night of a short slumber; in my face, my body, my mood, etc. A 8-9 hour sleeping window is optimal for me.
3. Moving my body! I genuinely believe it’s all connected. Perfect example - when I go surfing and see someone in their 60s, or 70s fluidly moving on their board across waves, they seem ageless. There’s this external youth that they exude. So you can count on me to surf and move my body for the rest of my time on this planet.
I’ll preface this by saying I only use The Golden Secrets since trying my first bottle over 4 years ago. I follow Jesse’s am/pm protocol and swear by it. AM: I apply Heal All Oil, wash, pat my face with a Glowing Facial Cloth, and sprits Aura Beauty Mist, get about 4-5 drops of Youth Beauty in my hands, mix between both hands, and pat my face, neck, and chest. Followed by a couple of drops of Heal All Oil If my face is feeling tired that day I’ll use the Sorceress Stone Gua Sha Beauty Tool or the Gold Pulse Firming Face Wand PM: Another Heal All Oil wash to refresh my face after the day. Finishing with a few sprays of Aura Beauty Mist and a few drops of Youth Beauty. And when I remember to I incorporate an Instant Glow Facial Mask after washing my face.
It’s about living gracefully, naturally, and self-lovingly to me. It encompasses a whole lifestyle that resonates with me. Whenever I question ‘Is this good for me’, I’ve learned to avoid mainstream media gimmicks and trends that have a selfish agenda behind them. Instead, I reference The Golden Secrets blog, ebooks, or The Golden Secrets to Optimal Health Book. It’s all based on centuries of traditions and natural remedies, some of which I remember my European mama practicing as a kid. I want to be a part of carrying on those traditions.
It's hard to choose a favorite because each product is undeniably good and specific to the concerns it targets. I will go on record and say that I couldn’t go a day without The Youth Beauty Face Oil
]]>The Golden Secrets skincare contains all-natural ingredients that are specifically chosen for their healing and nourishing properties. The ingredients work together to help soothe inflammation, reduce redness, and calm irritated skin. However, it's important to remember that while skincare is important for healing acne, it is not the only solution.
Our diet and lifestyle choices also play a significant role in the health of our skin. Consuming a balanced, nutrient-rich diet and avoiding processed foods can help maintain clear, healthy skin. Additionally, staying hydrated and getting enough sleep can also contribute to better skin health.
It's important to take a holistic approach to skincare, addressing both the external and internal factors that contribute to acne. What is seen externally is a direct reflection of what is going on internally.
Cystic acne is a severe form of acne that occurs when oil and dead skin cells build up deep within hair follicles, causing painful, inflamed bumps that can be large and pus-filled. Cystic acne tends to be more persistent and difficult to treat than regular acne and can have long-lasting impacts on the skin, including scarring and hyperpigmentation.
Regular acne, on the other hand, is a milder form of acne that usually presents as whiteheads, blackheads, and small pimples on the surface of the skin. It is often caused by excess oil production, clogged pores, and inflammation. Regular acne can usually be managed with lifestyle changes such as keeping the skin clean and avoiding irritants.
Probiotics: Probiotics are the healthy bacteria that live in your gut and help to balance your immune system. When your gut bacteria are not in balance, it can lead to increased inflammation and acne. Eating probiotic-rich foods like yogurt, kefir, and sauerkraut can help restore this balance. Often adding a good probiotic supplement into your daily ritual can aid in numerous health benefits while giving your skin a clear complexion.
Zinc: Zinc is an essential mineral that is important for healthy skin and immune function. It has been shown to reduce the severity of acne and speed up the healing process. Foods high in zinc include oysters, beef, and pumpkin seeds. Here is a great zinc supplement made from oysters.
Vitamin A: Vitamin A is crucial for skin health and helps to regulate oil production in the skin. Foods high in vitamin A include sweet potatoes, carrots, and leafy greens like spinach and kale, beef and chicken liver and cod liver oil. Here is a great beef liver capsule.
Vitamin D: Vitamin D is important for immune function and has been shown to help reduce acne. While the best source of vitamin D is sunlight, you can also get it from fatty fish like salmon and support your body through supplementation. When supplementing Vitamin D, it is always recommended to take it with K2 for it to properly assimilate into the body.
Vitamin E: Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative damage. It also has anti-inflammatory properties that could potentially benefit acne-prone skin. This is one of my faves for overall skin health, including pigmentation.
Minerals: Zinc mentioned above, as well as Selenium, Copper and Magnesium are essential for hormone balance, collagen production, and antioxidant defense. I recommend adding celtic salt into your water and I also like these added mineral drops here.
Turmeric: Turmeric is a spice that has powerful anti-inflammatory properties. It has been shown to help reduce acne and scars. Turmeric can be added to foods like soups, stews, and curries as well as taking it through supplementation. Here is a great option.
DIM (diindolylmethane): is a compound derived from cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage. It has gained attention for its potential benefits in hormone balance, particularly estrogen metabolism. Some studies and anecdotal evidence suggest that DIM may be helpful for managing acne, especially for individuals with hormonal imbalances or estrogen dominance. It is believed that DIM promotes a healthier balance between estrogen and other hormones in the body, which could potentially help reduce acne breakouts associated with hormonal fluctuations. Here is one that I like.
Silicea: also known as silica or silicea terra, is a homeopathic remedy that addresses skin conditions, including acne, by stimulating the body's self-healing mechanisms. It can help with the expulsion of toxins from the body, reduce inflammation, and promote the healing of acne lesions. I linked it Here
Here is an entire list of all my recommendations for Skin Health.
While these foods and supplements may help support the healing process, always consult with a healthcare professional before making any changes to your diet or supplement routine.
In addition to these foods and supplements, The Clear Confident Skin Kit was formulated with powerful ingredients to specifically target stubborn acne and provide clear, healthy-looking skin once and for all.
When dealing with an active flare-up, I recommend resetting the kin by keeping it very simple. Cleanse with the Heal All Oil, mist the face with Aura Beauty Mist, then while the skin is still damp reapply Heal All Oil. Do this for two weeks to 30 days, until the skin has settled. Then you can start to incorporate the Instant Glow Facial Mask into your weekly ritual and add any other products ideal for your skin type.

Q1: Best Skincare Tips for Postpartum?
Postpartum is such a sensitive, vulnerable time where your body and hormones, not to mention lack of sleep from being a new mom could take a toll on your skin, but it's also one of the most beautiful times to really harness a self-care practice.
The best skin care is to start before and during pregnancy to create a beautiful base so that your skin can handle the changes more gracefully. If you are breastfeeding, you still want to be mindful of the products you are using to not interfere with your milk supply or irritate your baby, as they are more sensitive to scents and products. The most important thing is to use organic, nourishing products that help replenish your skin during this time.
My recommendations are cleansing with Heal All Oil, toning with Aura Beauty Mist, moisturizing with Youth Beauty, and massaging with our Sorceress Stone or Gold Wand. Even 2-3 minutes will help bring needed blood flow and nutrients to your skin to help reignite your glow. For the body, I recommend Womb Wisdom as an all-over body moisturizer, daily dry brushing, and Sculpting Stone for massage. Once you have completed breastfeeding, you can start incorporating the Goddess Shaping Body Oil to help tighten & detoxify the skin.

Q5: What should we be focusing on to look our absolute best without wearing any makeup?
Hair oiling has a long history dating back thousands of years and is a practice that has been passed down through generations in various cultures. Here's a brief overview of the history of hair oiling:
Ancient civilizations: Hair oiling has roots in ancient civilizations such as Egypt, India, and Greece. In ancient Egypt, both men and women used hair oils made from a blend of plant-based ingredients to nourish and condition their hair. In India, Ayurvedic practices involved the use of hair oils, known as "tel" or "thailam," which were based on traditional herbal formulations.
Traditional Ayurveda: In Ayurvedic medicine, hair oiling is considered an essential part of a holistic approach to hair care. Ayurvedic hair oils are prepared using various botanical ingredients, including herbs, roots, and oils, chosen for their specific properties and benefits for the hair and scalp. Hair oiling in Ayurveda aims to promote hair growth, strengthen the hair, prevent scalp conditions, and maintain overall hair health.
Eastern traditions: Hair oiling practices have been prevalent in Eastern cultures such as China and Japan. In traditional Chinese medicine, hair oils containing herbal extracts and natural oils have been used to nourish the hair, stimulate circulation in the scalp, and improve hair health. In Japan, camellia oil has been a popular choice for hair oiling, known for its moisturizing and conditioning properties.
Modern times: Hair oiling is just starting to become popular again as continues as a resurgence of interest in natural and organic hair care. Many people are beginning to incorporate hair oiling as part of their hair care routine to nourish and condition their hair, enhance shine, improve manageability, and address common hair concerns such as dryness, frizz, and breakage.
Hair oiling connects us to ancient wisdom and the natural care of our hair. This is where our Heal All Oil comes in.
Our Heal All Oil is pressed from the fruit kernel of the Callophyllum inophyllum botanical, better known as the Tamanu Nut Tree. The plant receives its name from the Latin term meaning “beautiful leaf,” hence another popular nickname for the century-old remedy. Also referred to as Foraha Oil and Green Gold. It takes over 220 pounds of tamanu fruit kernal to create only 11 pounds of cold-pressed oil, making this liquid green-gold both labor-intensive and very expensive to produce.
Heal All Oil is rich and dark green with a pleasant floral aroma and a complex make up. Try this conditioning hair oil treatment:
The night before you plan to wash your hair, saturate your scalp from roots to ends, massaging it into the scalp and bringing the oil all the way down, so that your entire hair gets the nourishing treatment. You can also use a comb to help aid in getting it through the strands down to the ends. Leave it in for 10-15 minutes before showering in order to allow the oil’s hydration to take effect. This also allows it to penetrate the hair shaft to create a protective barrier against the potentially harsh effects of shampoo and water. After the shower, hair will be left feeling smoother and softer and will thus be more manageable. For optimal results, this hair regimen can be repeated 1 or 2 times each week.
For a deeper nourishing Heal All Oil hair treatment, that enhances hair growth and restores the hair’s luster, apply as explained above, then tie your hair up in a bun and place a scarf on your head to protect your pillow case and to help keep everything in place. Leave it on as an overnight mask then wash as usual in am. This hair treatment regimen can be repeated once every week.

Q1: Do you have any new kits?
We have several new kits and duos. The best part is all of them are on sale and the duos are available for subscription, so you can save even more on the products you use most.

Q2: What do you recommend for eczema skin?
Our Heal All Oil has been shown to have miraculous results with eczema-prone skin. We have had so many customers go from doctor to doctor, prescription after prescription, and not until they tried our Heal All Oil did they get relief. Please take a look at our reviews under Heal All Oil. They are so inspiring.
We have also seen excellent results from Youth Beauty Face Oil, but I always recommend starting with Heal All Oil for sensitive skin, especially if there is an active flare, then once the skin settles, you can begin to incorporate Youth Beauty, and of course, Aura Beauty Mist should be applied before any oil.

Q3: How much pressure should I use with the Gua Sha Stone?
When you gua sha the face, you want a light to medium pressure and the lightest when working around the eyes. Whenever you are working on the lymphatic system, you want that to be a superficial soft touch; otherwise, you bypass the lymph.
You can apply more pressure than the face when working on the body. It really depends on your preference and tolerance. Some people like to dig in, but it's not necessary to receive the benefits. Listen to your body's biofeedback and adjust accordingly.

Q4: Why is there olive oil in the womb wisdom? You said to avoid unsaturated fatty acids?
I think you misunderstood. I said to steer clear of the highest PUFA oils that go through a complicated industrial process involving high heat and extreme pressure, which all cause extreme oxidation. Olive oil on the other hand involves a much simpler traditional technique and is mostly monounsaturated fat, low in Polyunsaturated fats, and rich in antioxidants- one of the best, stable plant oils for your skin. Q5: What kit do you recommend buying for a mom?
I would recommend the At-Home Glowing Facial Kit, Jesse’s Spa Day Kit or the Be Golden Kit. All of them come at a discounted price with our recyclable, oversized Skincare Bag.
Our Instant Glow Facial Mask is a deeply purifying powder mask with intensely active and potent tonifying ingredients. It has pore-purging beauty minerals, vitamins, compounds, and over 600 antioxidants to neutralize free radicals, reduce sagging, improve elasticity, smooth wrinkles, and brighten the skin. Over time, it improves firmness, evens skin tone, diminishes hyperpigmentation and age spots.
Our mask is in a league of its own and has stood the test of time. Powder clay masks have been a part of almost every beauty ritual in every culture since ancient times. Unlike masks that you find in a tube, hydrogel masks or sheet masks, powder masks have yet to have their critical active ingredients activated. When you’re using a liquid-based formula, the key ingredients within the formula have already been jump-started with the addition of a liquid, which also means there are preservatives in it to prevent mold from forming. Most of these preservatives help keep the product on the shelf longer, not necessarily your skin and can be loaded with toxins that actually irritate and cause more skin and health issues. The beauty of our mask is you add the water to the powder when you want to use it, activating the mask and giving you the freshest, most on-demand, effective mask formula possible.
OptiMSM™ Nature's beauty mineral. This patented, science-backed, and clinically proven ingredient is a rich source of sulfur — 34% by weight. Sulfur is a key component of collagen that supports the skin’s structural framework. Inhibits the breakdown of dermal collagen and elastin structure leading to wrinkle formation and fragile skin. Stimulates the expression of specific genes to improve skin strength and elasticity while making the cells more permeable and improving the absorption of nutrients responsible for the regulation and distribution of water through the epidermis.
Vegan DMAE- Backed by extensive toxicology data. Non-shellfish derived, free of GMOs, allergens, and gluten that actively facilitates neurotransmitters shown to diminish sagging skin by tightening its appearance from beneath the skin. Also reduces dark under-eye circles, evens out imperfections, minimizes pores, and visibly plumps the skin's elasticity and luminosity.
Raw Cocoa- Rich in antioxidants (621 to be exact) and immediately hydrates and rebalances the skin to minimize fine lines and wrinkles and neutralize free radical damage. The chocolatey, decadent scent allows you to relax while the powerful ingredients deliver an ultimate moisture boost.
Sea Clay- Mined from ancient mud deposits laid down under the sea millions of years ago. It is rich in silica, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. Draws out impurities, tightens pores and gently exfoliates, resulting in healthier-looking skin.
Rose Clay- Formed by the earth, this silica, mineral-rich, pH-balanced clay has been used through the ages for dehydrated skin. It gently draws out impurities from pores while encouraging a hydrated, more even and radiant complexion.
Vitamin C- A brightening, powerful antioxidant that protects and repairs the skin from free-radical damage and stimulates the biosynthesis of collagen, giving the skin a more youthful appearance.
Aloe Vera- Soothes sore, inflamed skin and accelerates repair. It is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral and contains antioxidants and 20 essential amino acids.

Q1: I have been waiting for your lash serum for years. Can you tell me about it?
Yes! I have been working on this for almost a decade and am beyond excited to finally be able to share! This was actually one of the first products I created years ago but for some reason, it just wasn’t happening. Then a few years ago, I started working with an organic chemist, and together we have been able to formulate the first revolutionary, safe alternative, strengthening, and nourishing serum that synergistically works to optimize lash health.
Long Lash is a clean, non-toxic, scientifically-formulated, Triple Peptide Complex that delivers nutrients to feed lashes with nature’s most powerful superstars. Backed by clinically-tested and active ingredients to encourage growth cycles to maximize, prevent breakage, and repair damage from cleansing, curling, mascara, extensions, and false lashes. Free from prostaglandins (like most lash growth serums) to naturally enhance the beauty of your own lashes without negative side effects. Simply put, supernatural results without compromise.
I have always had long lashes, and before lash extensions were a thing, people would ask me if I was wearing false lashes; then people started asking me if I used Latisse (something I would never risk using), and now people ask me just about every day if I have extensions, another thing I have never had and would never have because I think they destroy your own lashes. This is another reason why I was determined to create a product that can help women feel more confident without hormones or false lashes that destroy the beauty and health of their own lashes, making them reliant on false lashes their entire life. Although I have always had genetically long lashes, due to health issues with rheumatoid arthritis and IVF treatments, I have lost all of my lashes numerous times, and the last two times, with the help of Long Lash, my lashes grew back more full and beautiful than they have in years.

Q2: What is your hair care routine?
I wash my hair about once a week with a natural shampoo and conditioner. I usually brush it when it's wet then let it air dry, unless I’m in a rush then I might run a blow dryer through the front to help shape my layers. I use whatever TGS oil I put on my body that day through the ends to help tame any flyaways.
Once to twice a month I saturate my hair in Heal All Oil and leave it on overnight before I wash it out.
Heal All Oil encourages stronger, longer, healthier hair growth, addresses hair loss, hydrates the strands, brings out hair’s natural sheen, and helps with easier manageability. It also works to soothe inflammation on the scalp.

Q3: Do you think that deeper stretch marks from pregnancy can be healed?
Yes! With a little or maybe a lot of self-love all things are possible. There are several factors to consider. First of all, it took almost a year for you to create life so it will take at least that amount of time for your body to settle back into itself. Being proactive before, during, and after with the right moisturizer is key to minimizing damage.
This is precisely why I created Womb Wisdom. I recommend using this pre-conception, during pregnancy, and while breastfeeding.
Post-breastfeeding, you can begin to incorporate Goddess Shaping Body Oil, a very active, detoxifying oil that helps prevent and correct stretch marks.
Incorporating body tools like our Ionic Copper Dry Brush and Sculpting Stone Gua Sha Body Tool can further aid in exfoliating and smoothing out the appearance of stretch marks.
Lastly, be patient with yourself and your ever-changing beautiful body, not only does size change (especially during pregnancy) affect whether you might get stretch marks or not but also hormone fluctuations so with time, your body will find its new balance and in the meantime, you can start giving yourself some extra TLC with TGS :)

Q5: I hear you talk about PUFA oils. Which PUFA oils would you never use on your skin and why?
There are so many oils in some of the most famous and popular skincare brands that I personally would never use on my skin. Meanwhile, people keep wondering why their skin is aging rapidly with hyperpigmentation, acne, and age spots- blaming the sun and putting more toxic products on their skin, creating a vicious cycle…maybe that was the plan all along.
High PUFA oils interact negatively with sunlight and cause skin oxidation and rapid aging. The higher an oil is in PUFAs, the more likely it is to cause free radical damage to your skin (think age spots and wrinkles.) These are the oils highest in PUFA (polyunsaturated fatty acids) Hemp seed, Safflower, Grapeseed, Flaxseed (Linseed), Sunflower, Poppyseed, and Soybean. If you want to learn more, read my blog post below.
Read More About PUFA's HERE
The common ingredient in conventional eyelash growth serums like Latisse, GrandeLash, Nulastin, and many others is a prostaglandin analogue, a hormone-like fatty acid that causes blood vessels to expand and become more permeable, allowing for an increase in the flow of oxygen and nutrients to the eyelashes. You may see these listed on the label as Isopropyl cloprostenate, Bimatoprost, Isopropanol Phenyl-hydroxyl-pentene Dihydroxy-cyclopentyl-heptenate, Dechloro Dihydroxy Difluoro Ethylcloprostenolamide, or Trifluoromethyl Dechloro Ethylprostenolamide. These are all believed to prolong the Anagen (active growth) phase, but the actual growth in lashes is just a side effect. The original use is to treat glaucoma. There are also side effects such as swelling, redness, and irritation at the base of the lashes--and these symptoms may last long after you stop using the product. In addition to chronic irritation, these lash serums have also been known to darken the eyelid skin and the iris color in people with lighter eyes. It can also potentially cause a “sunken eye” appearance by shrinking the layers of orbital fat around the eye socket- aging the eye dramatically. This is gradual and happens over time but is also permanent. No bueno!
Other possible side effects:
THIS is precisely why I created Long Lash Growth Serum--a revolutionary, safe alternative, strengthening and nourishing serum that synergistically works to optimize lash health. It's clean, non-toxic, scientifically-formulated Triple Peptide Complex (Acetyl Tetrapeptide-3, Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, Myristoyl Pentapeptide-17) acts on all three lash and brow phases. Why peptides? Peptides (amino acids) are the building blocks of protein. Our eyelashes are made up of 90% of protein so by using a triple peptide-based formula you can safely extend the natural process of your eyelashes' lifespan in the Anagen phase (active growth). Then during the Catagen phase (transition phase), peptides deliver nutrients to prolong this phase. In the Telogen phase (resting phase), your lashes appear to be fuller, thicker and longer.
Backed by clinically-tested and active ingredients to encourage growth cycles to maximize, prevent breakage, and repair damage from cleansing, curling, mascara, extensions, and false lashes. Free from prostaglandins to naturally enhance the beauty of your own lashes without negative side effects.
This is my secret to long, natural, full, and beautiful lashes without makeup, extensions, or compromise. Fast, safe, and effective.
Restores sparse, brittle, damaged lashes with three of the most promising peptides for optimal lash health & growth:
Here are some of our key ingredients:
This powerful peptide nourishes and conditions the lashes with provitamin B5 (panthenol) and promotes hair bulb keratinocyte proliferation to ensure optimal hair anchorage. Clinical studies show 3x more volume in just 15 days!
Our second, patented, active peptide is formulated with plant-powered red clover flower extract, rich in Biochanin A to regenerate hair follicles and improve hair regrowth to densify the lashes and brows, giving you a more full, youthful look.
This new, potent, proprietary active targets hair growth at the cellular level. Plant-based extracts and other natural ingredients dramatically reactivate hair growth and decrease hair loss with clinically visible results in 3 months by re-launching stem cell activity and proliferation and increasing the dermal papilla fibroblasts metabolism resulting in astonishing lash growth.
Our third peptide is a chain of 5 different peptides, hence the word Penta attached to the oil-soluble fatty acid, myristic acid, for better bioavailability. It is known as being one of the best cell-communicating, active ingredients to boost keratin production (the protein that makes up hair) and lengthen the growth cycle. This results in the thicker, longer lashes and brows we all desire.
Thanks to the natural compound ginsenoside, Ginseng is a super-effective hair thickener that reinforces each individual eyelash, making it very effective in thickening sparse lashes--giving the lashes and brows a full, fresh look.
Also known as green tea leaf extract, it is one of the most powerful antioxidants (epigallocatechin) that stimulates and soothes the hair follicles, encouraging new growth. It has the highest concentration of plant chemicals that keep the hair follicles in the anagen phase. It also acts as a humectant by drawing moisture to the hair fibers to keep the lashes and brows moisturized and healthy.
It contains ricinoleic acid, an antimicrobial, detoxifying, and moisturizing to the follicle. It helps strengthen the hair and adds shine, which gives lashes the appearance of being fuller and darker.

Q4: Do I need to be using retinol?
One of the main ingredients in our Youth Beauty Face Oil is Rosehip oil, not Rosehip seed but Rosehip oil, containing the whole fruit, which contains 10x more pro-vitamin A than Rosehip seed oil, an excellent source of topical trans-retinoic acid in a natural form.
Retinoic acid, found in Tretinoin, also called Retinol (Vitamin A), is synthetic, very strong, and toxic in any dosage. It must be applied under medical supervision and has possible undesirable side effects and health repercussions.
Rosehip Oil, however, produces all the benefits of Tretinoin but without the undesirable, toxic side effects since it is in a natural state as part of a complex system of unsaturated fatty acids. Therefore, its action is controlled and slowly released by nature, as it should be.
Some dermatologists will tell you that you can safely manage retinol and just need to be careful. But I have seen enough studies to believe that it is toxic in any dosage and shouldn’t be used on your skin. The Environmental Working Group (EWG) rates Retinol as a 9 out of 10 for toxicity!
I believe in not sacrificing your skin or your body's long-term health for short-term fixes. This is the main reason why I started TGS. Everything good can be found in nature and nature is more than enough.

Q5: Why do you love gua sha so much?
Because there is nothing better to help create vital life force energy throughout the face and body. Blocked blood flow throughout the body significantly affects how and when we begin showing signs of aging. If blood flow is blocked, the skin loses its luster, firmness, and radiance causing it to age prematurely. The state of our face is a direct reflection of how well our circulating energy life force “qi” or blood flow is. No matter what you do, if you do not take care of the blood flow system, you cannot permanently change your face. The face is an extension of the whole body and reflects not only what's happening on your face but what is happening in your body & mind. Treating the entire system is key for maximum results.
Results of not taking care of the body and face and neglecting self-care = fine lines, wrinkles, puffiness, acne, dull/dry skin, jaw pain, etc.
Cosmetic procedures are quick fixes that need to be constantly repeated because the face will gradually go back to its natural pattern. The key to long-lasting results is to naturally change the pattern of the face and retrain the muscles and skin.

Dry brushing is one of the best ways to keep your body healthy and smooth. It's an excellent way to remove dead skin cells, improve the skin's appearance, (including cellulite), promote cell renewal, and of course lymph flow- boosting your body's natural detoxification process.
The lymphatic system is a network of tissues, vessels and organs that helps remove toxins and other waste products from your body. It works in conjunction with the circulatory system, but instead of pumping blood through the body it transports lymph fluid. But unlike our cardiovascular system, our lymph system has no pump so it's important to manually facilitate this movement of fluid.
We have approximately 500-600 lymph nodes throughout our body. These nodes swell in response to infection due to a buildup of this lymph fluid, bacteria, or other organisms and immune issues. These lymph nodes are located in the neck, armpits, groin and abdomen. When they detect an infection or inflammation they produce antibodies to fight it off. They also produce white blood cells which help fight infections by eating bacteria or viruses that have invaded your body (this process is called phagocytosis).
Then there is lymphatic vessels which carry lymph fluid throughout your body so it can be filtered by other organs such as our spleen before returning back into circulation at its original point of entry (like how water flows down hill). The lymphatic fluid itself contains cell debris from dead cells that need removing as well as fats from our diet; both substances would build up if left behind without proper cleaning out!
It is standard practice to dry brush towards your heart but here is a ten step ritual to really open up the drainage pathways and encourage the vacuum effect of lymphatic circulation in your body.
Step 1
Begin at your supraclavicular lymphatic nodes, found at the base of your neck, just above your collarbones. With your right and left hand, press your fingertips down into the hollows of your collarbone. With a super light touch, begin to massage in a j-motion, down and out towards your shoulders. Repeat ten times
Step 2
Place your hand in your armpit to stimulate the axillary lymph nodes. Pulse upward into the groove of your armpit. Repeat ten times then repeat on your opposite armpit.
Step 3
Now begin to dry brush from your hand up to your inner and outer arm towards your armpit. repeat on the other side.
Step 4
With your left hand, dry brush your right breast into your right armpit then dry brush from your sternum and middle of your chest toward your heart. Repeat on the opposite side.
Step 5
Dry brush your abdomen in clockwise circular motions. This is the direction your colon runs and will help stimulate proper digestion.
Step 6
Dry brush your lower back and sides toward your abdomen.
Step 7
Brush your upper back toward the front of your body. The lymphatic fluid from the back of your body drains toward the front into your heart area,
Step 8
Place your dry brush on the top of your inner thigh and massage in c-strokes up toward the crease of your thigh to stimulate the inguinal lymph nodes. Repeat five times. Then repeat on the opposite side.
Step 9
Beginning at your right knee, dry brush above, over, and underneath your knee toward the crease of your thigh. Then brush your lower leg up to your thigh. Brush the back of your calves toward the front of your leg. lastly, brush from your foot to your knee. Repeat on the left leg.
Step 10
Repeat steps 5 & 4 then finish by brushing straight up your midline towards your heart. Jump up and down a few times in place to further assist your lymphatic flow. Best practiced in a.m.

Q1: I have oily skin so I don't wear oils. Is this correct?
This is one of the biggest misconceptions in skincare and one that I believe was created to keep people in vicious skincare cycles. Simple chemistry teaches us that Like Dissolves Like. So using the right oils will actually benefit you.
See, at TGS we believe in using ingredients that are biocompatible with your skin. Synergistically working together to balance it. Most products either destroy the acid mantle or clog the skin barrier, but the right ingredients restore the delicate balance of your skin. Most people with oily or even acne-prone skin think that if they dry their skin out, it will solve the problem, but it’s quite the opposite. Drying your skin out actually makes your skin overcompensate and want to create more oil in order to protect it. Our skin needs those natural oils for it to do its job.
Stripping the skin of its natural oils only leaves it vulnerable to environmental factors, sun spots, acne, inflammation, and premature aging. It’s actually known that people with more oil in their skin age more gracefully and people lacking certain oils in their skin are more prone to acne so balance is key and every TGS product is perfectly formulated so that your skin can finally thrive, heal and glow once and for all.
For acne-prone skin, I recommend our Heal All Oil. If your focus is more on age-defying then I would go for the Youth Beauty Face Oil. Using both of these together is ideal. Heal All Oil to cleanse, moisturize and spot treat and Youth Beauty Face Oil at night. Don’t skip Aura Beauty Mist. This is one of the most important steps prior to applying your oil.

Q2: Are all your oils safe during pregnancy?
I just launched a new product called Womb Wisdom - designed to take a woman through the three phases of her life; maiden, mother, and crone. It is the first truly-safe pregnancy body oil formulated with stable fatty oils to nurture and support all the phases of a woman's cycles, especially the most delicate ones. It comes in a large 120ml pump for easy application and can be a new staple on your counter to encourage moments of self-love and massage. It blows my mind to see the products out there that are marketed toward pregnant women and filled with toxic preservatives, rancid oils, and synthetic fragrances. These are all things that TGS never has in their products, no matter what phase of life you are in.
The only product that is definitely not pregnancy safe is our Goddess Shaping Body Oil, which we clearly state on our website and packaging as it is a detoxifying body oil.
Saying that I used many of my products throughout my pregnancy. The use of natural, organic oils and pregnancy can be controversial depending on who you ask, and this isn't due to the necessary dangers as it is so much the lack of data because nobody is willing to test on pregnant women. But plant botanicals have safely been used since ancient times to support women, especially during their most important times.
I have written an entire blog post on this subject where you can learn more info, see a complete list, and also look at the (NAHA) National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy list.

Q3: I want to live a cleaner lifestyle but don't know where to start.
This is really the premise for my book, The Golden Secrets to Optimal Health. I would get asked this question all the time and I wanted to have a place where I could send people. Where they wouldn’t get overwhelmed and could easily start making small changes in a constructive, healthy way.
—
Q4: What are your top tips for optimal health?
1) Stay as close to nature as possible. The further we stray from her, the worse off we will be. Get outside, breathe in different biomes, eat natural foods, wear natural fabrics and of course, use natural self-care and skincare products.
2) Get vital life energy moving through your body every day. Walk, lift weights, stretch, practice yoga, pilates, and hike. Do whatever you need to to get your blood flowing. It does not need to be excessive every day. Quite the contrary. Listen to what your body needs. Especially if you are a woman- honor the cycle and phase that you are in. Sometimes a nice stretch and some body gua sha is plenty; other days, you might want to go all out and challenge yourself.
3) Quality of life. Check your daily routines, your daily habits, the people you surround yourself with, and the people you follow. All of these things determine your quality of life. If you are unhappy with a part of your life, begin making some changes to improve it. It’s in those little subtle changes that make the significant changes overall.

Q5: How do you handle anxiety?
1) Nuvita CBD is a consistent go-to for me. Use code: BEGOLDEN to get a discount.
2) 4-7-8 breathing: Inhale for 4, hold for 7, and exhale for 8 all through the nose.
3) Be where your feet are. Simply look down at your feet to get into your body & into the present moment.
5) Go through the 5 senses: Sight - find something to focus on. Sound - pay attention to the sounds you are hearing. Smell - take a deep breath & see what you smell. Taste - enjoy something you can taste. Touch -feel something nearby.
6) EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) - Tapping is a self-help technique that was developed by Gary Craig in the 1990s. It involves tapping near the end points of energy meridians in order to reduce tension & promote a deeper mind-body connection. I often use this technique to reduce & let go of the pain I am holding onto in the body. I truly believe EFT will become another common mindfulness technique, much as meditation & yoga have in the last decade.
Retinoic acid, found in Tretinoin, also called Retinol (Vitamin A), is synthetic, very strong, and toxic in any dosage. It must be applied under medical supervision and has possible undesirable side effects and health repercussions.
Rosehip oil, however, produces all the same anti-aging benefits of Tretinoin but without the undesirable, toxic side effects since it is in a natural state as part of a complex system of unsaturated fatty acids. Therefore, it's action is controlled and slowly released by nature, as it should be.
It states "Retinol is a potent form of synthetic vitamin A. Data from an FDA study indicate that retinoid ingredients may speed the development of skin tumors and lesions on sun-exposed skin." Concerns being cancer and developmental and reproductive toxicity.
I believe in not sacrificing your skin or your body's long-term health for short-term fixes. This is the main reason why I started TGS. Everything good can be found in nature and nature is more than enough.
