Dr Jennifer Churchill is an executive coach and performance psychologist specializing in & navigating perimenopause. Consider her your Midlife Glow-Getter.
"I treat each morning, and each evening, as my own private self-care retreat. I layer my Ionic copper dry-brush with three Golden Secrets oils that I honestly can’t live without. This isn’t just skincare. It’s a daily ritual that reminds me I matter."
We got to ask her a few questions on how she remains balanced, energized and glowing through all of life's demands:
What is the TGS product you're never without?
It is the Youth Beauty Face Oil. As I’ve gotten older, my skin elasticity and texture have shifted, and this is the one product that brings vitality back immediately. It’s truly moisturizing and gives me an instant glow, so much so that most days I don’t even need makeup. And because it’s so clean, I know it’s not disrupting my endocrine system, which is absolutely essential as I navigate perimenopause.
What is the best piece of advice you always return to?
My biggest obstacles only live in my mind. What my mind says, my body remembers. I pay attention to my thoughts and choose to be an observer, not a participant, so I remain a clear, supportive partner in my own growth journey.
Do you have any advice for someone trying to glow up mentally and physically?
Do not wait to love yourself. Love yourself immediately. There is no finish line, no goal you’ll reach where you finally declare, “Now I’m enough.” When you tap into your most intuitive nature, because, as women, we are powerful, generative, intuitive souls, you become magnetic. We’re here to create: wealth, health, opportunity, generosity. Embrace that.
What are three daily mental welless habits that can help people feel more energized & balanced?
1. Movement as Medicine: If I’m feeling stuck or distracted, I get up and walk, ideally outside. Movement always generates positive feelings.
2. Mindful Morning Affirmation: While cleansing, I name one thing I love about myself and set my intention to “show up” for myself throughout the day.
3. Evening Reflection Ritual: Before bed, I walk my dog, device-free for at least an hour. Then, I pause with my journal, often rubbing a drop of Goddess Body Shaping Oil between my palms, listing three things I’m grateful for. That last hour screens off stress and primes my sleep rhythm.
Are there any psychological benefits of Self-Care rituals?
There’s so much power in touch, connecting to our largest organ, the skin. When I look in the mirror and realize I’m caring for myself through a beauty routine, I strengthen interoception. That awareness calms stress hormones, rewires my nervous system, and deepens self-awareness. It’s one of the most powerful acts of leadership I know.
What is one underrated practice you wish more people knew about?
Cold splashes right after Heal All Oil. That tiny shock not only primes your skin for better absorption, it serves as a mini reset for the mind, two benefits in one simple step. And speaking of underrated skills, we women sometimes shy away from talking about making money, even though we’re generative beings by nature. Not all women are called to be mothers in body, but all women are called to be mothers in soul, and that includes creating wealth: in money, health, opportunity, and giving. When we honor our ability to generate, and be proud of it, we become unstoppable.
What are your AM/PM Routines?
● AM: I let my bed breathe. I don’t make it right away, because we slough off cells and our body temperature changes overnight (especially with hot flashes). Then I look in the mirror and set my self-supportive intention. Next: ionic copper dry-brush, a quick dog walk, a big glass of water, and then Youth Beauty Face Oil + SPF.
● PM: I Oil-cleanse, apply Heal All Oil to my pulse points, smooth Goddess Body Shaping Oil over my décolleté, and give myself a five-minute scalp massage. My final act before lights-out is another device-free dog walk, because what you do before
bedtime shapes your sleep rhythm, just like your morning routine shapes your day.
Do mental health & skin health Intersect?
Absolutely. Women have estrogen receptors all over our skin. Nurturing skin health means supporting hormonal balance, and estrogen is our natural anti-inflammatory. From our first cycle to beyond menopause, clean, hormone-friendly skincare does more than beautify. It bolsters mood, calms inflammation, and supports every aspect of well-being.
