Thank you to everyone who sent in their questions on Instagram — I love hearing from all of you and I wish I could answer every question. Answering five of the most asked below :)

FYI I will be doing this at the end of every month so make sure you’re following my personal account on Instagram @jessegolden and subscribe to my email list HERE so you don't miss your question potentially being answered!

Q1: Favorite Glow Recipe?

Daily raw carrot salad for natural hormone balance, daily detox support, and internal retinol to nourish your skin from within:

  • One organic raw carrot, shredded
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Organic extra virgin (single origin) olive oil
  • Salt

Q2: What’s your opinion on taking colostrum?

I’ve been taking it for years and am a big fan! I only share things that I use & love on my website (jessegolden.com), and Kion is one of the OG’s. You might not see them advertised as much as the other ones, but they are one of the originals and the best.

  • Boosts immunity with antibodies and lactoferrin
  • Supports gut health and repairs the intestinal lining
  • Promotes cellular growth and tissue regeneration
  • Reduces inflammation naturally
  • Nourishes skin and balances the microbiome

Q3: Continue Womb Wisdom or switch to Goddess Shaping Body Oil postpartum?

Great question! I don’t recommend using Goddess while breastfeeding, especially on areas that might come into direct contact with your baby. Although it’s EWG Verified and completely non-toxic, Goddess is a detoxifying and stimulating formula, which could be too strong for babies, who tend to be more sensitive.

That being said, I’ve used it sparingly on targeted areas like my legs, bum, and belly—always ensuring these areas are fully covered and don’t come into contact with my baby via skin or inhalation. I prefer to err on the side of caution, especially during those early, sensitive stages, and recommend using Womb Wisdom Skin-Toning Oil during these times.

Q4: I’ve been getting dry, irritated spots on my lower eyelid. Very sensitive skin. Any hacks?

It sounds like your skin is reacting to something, and it could be due to various factors such as environmental triggers, allergies, eczema, dermatitis, nutrient deficiencies, autoimmune conditions, or hormonal imbalances.

To start addressing this, focus on your gut health, which plays a key role in skin health. Additionally, try eliminating harsh skincare products or irritants like certain detergents & foaming cleansers. Try the following:

  • Warm Chamomile Tea Bag Compress: Chamomile has soothing properties that may calm irritation.
  • Illuminating Cleansing Oil: This oil contains healing herbs like nettle, which can help soothe and nourish sensitive skin.
  • Air Filtration System: Air filters can help remove VOCs, allergens & more that could disrupt your skin.

Q5: Heal All Oil replaces retinol? Would it also replace a growth factor?

Great question! Just to clarify, Heal All Oil doesn’t replace retinol or growth factors. I’m not sure where that idea came from, but that’s not the purpose of this product. Heal All Oil is a multi-correctional, powerful botanical known for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and skin-regenerative properties. While it helps support collagen production and accelerate skin healing, it does not contain growth factors, which are specific proteins or peptides typically found in lab-derived or biologically sourced skincare (like EGF or PRP). Instead, it works through its unique fatty acid and antioxidant profile to help restore and repair compromised skin.

If you’re looking for a plant-based retinol alternative, I recommend Youth Beauty Face Oil. It’s formulated with key ingredients like:

  • Rosehip oil, rich in trans-retinoic acid (a natural vitamin A derivative)
  • Carrot seed oil, packed with carotenoids and antioxidants that support skin renewal
  • Sea Buckthorn, rich in beta-carotene (a precursor to vitamin A), which supports skin regeneration and gently stimulates cell turnover.
  • Frankincense, which supports collagen production and improves skin tone and texture
  • Vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant that protects and repairs skin on a cellular level

Together, these ingredients deliver many of the same renewing, firming, and brightening benefits of traditional retinol—without the toxicity, irritation, photosensitivity, or disruption to the skin barrier.
