Q1: I’m so overwhelmed with skincare. Where do I start?

I completely understand. Skincare can feel so overwhelming today with endless options and complicated routines.

That’s exactly why we created our Skin Quiz — a quick and easy way to help you find the perfect starting point, customized to your skin’s unique needs.

At The Golden Secrets, we focus on creating nutrient-dense, multitasking products, intentionally designed to simplify your routine while delivering maximum results.

Start with the quiz (discount code inside) and let us guide you into a skincare ritual that feels intuitive, not overwhelming.

Q2: How to accept aging?

For me, I’ve always seen aging as a privilege, not something to resist or fear. Maybe that perspective came early because I lost a lot of friends when I was young. It made me realize that growing older isn’t promised, it’s a gift.

I also feel really lucky that my mom always had a positive outlook on aging. She never tried to hide it; she embraced it with grace and authenticity, which made a big impact on me.

And personally, I’ve always been drawn to the oldest person in the room. I see them as the wisdom keepers, the ones who’ve lived, learned, endured, and evolved. There’s something sacred about that. Aging, to me, means accumulating stories, resilience, and depth. It’s not about trying to look like you’ve never lived; it’s about honoring the life you have lived.

So yes, I choose to see aging as a gift.

And I think when we take care of ourselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually, it shows. Not by erasing the years, but by radiating the beauty that’ we’ve had the privilege to live.

Q3: I  believe in skin cycling. Can I switch from the Youth Beauty Face Oil to the Aphrodisiac Glow Oil for my face?

Great question! While I support the concept of skin cycling, Aphrodisiac Glow Oil isn’t quite a direct swap for Youth Beauty Face Oil when it comes to that kind of targeted rotation.

Youth Beauty is a powerhouse facial oil designed for deep nourishment, antioxidant protection, and active skin renewal, making it perfect for regular use in a skin cycling routine, especially on recovery nights.

Aphrodisiac Glow Oil, on the other hand, is more of a finishing oil; think of it as your last step for radiance. It does offer beautiful benefits for skin elasticity and cell renewal, but it’s crafted to accentuate glow and enhance your natural luminosity rather than act as a treatment oil.

That said, you can absolutely use them together! Stick with Youth Beauty as your foundational treatment oil, and layer Aphrodisiac Glow on top for that irresistible, lit-from-within finish, especially on days when you’re going makeup-free or want that goddess glow.

Q4: How many times a week should you dry brush?

You can dry brush daily if it feels good to you! As with any wellness ritual, it’s important to listen to your body — if your skin is responding well, there’s no need to hold back. I personally dry brush about three times per week.

Because dry brushing is a form of exfoliation, it’s important to follow up with proper moisture support to keep the skin barrier healthy and supple. All of our body oils help seal in moisture, replenish lipids, and support skin elasticity.

I love applying a few drops of our detoxifying Goddess Shaping Body Oil directly onto the brush before beginning. This enhances glide, boosts circulation, and enhances the firming and toning benefits of both products.

Q5: What is the most practical, relatable advice you’ve received for preventative skin care?

I think we tend to overcomplicate skincare when being consistent with the basics is often ideal. Some of my favorite simple, preventative tips:

  • Always remove your makeup before bed.
  • Use clean, organic products consistently.
  • Less is more. We’ve been told we need tons of products, but too many can irritate the skin and do more harm than good.

Keep it simple, stay consistent, and give your skin time to adjust — on average, skin renews every 28 days, and while that slows as we age, it’s never too late to start fresh.
