Q: How long will it take to see results?
A: Some notice more plump and vibrant skin after the first use but more common is within the first two weeks you will visibly see a more youthful glow. In our customer survey 50% of our customers said they noticed a positive change immediately and the other 50% said they noticed a positive change within a week! 100% saw a positive change overall.
Q: Can I use the products for my entire body?
A: Yes, the entire line is multipurpose & multi-tasking and can benefit the entire body in many different ways. For face, body, hair, spot treat, aromatherapy and spiritual practices. Refer to the Ritual section on each individual product page for more.
Q: The QR code on the bottom of my box won’t scan.
A: Every box has QR code on the bottom to scan for a video ritual tutorial. If the QR link isn’t scanning for you try zooming in on it with your camera. Once it is able to focus it should pop right up.
Q: Why is it important to use organic, non-toxic skincare?
A: Our skin is our largest organ so what we put on it matters. The chemicals found in most non-organic skincare products can be highly toxic and can cause serious health issues from respiratory, migraines, hormone disruption and even cancer. Thankfully, organic ingredients don't contain these toxic chemicals, so you can not only do right by yourself but help protect the environment too.
Why should I use oil instead of cream to moisturize my skin?
Oils are lipophilic, or fat loving, they are able to pass though the lipid layer of the skin faster, preventing water loss and plumping skin with moisture more effectively. Although since oils do not contain water, to achieve optimal results we always recommend applying oil to damp skin. Either immediatly after cleansing or by applying Aura Beauty Mist first. This is both true for the face and the body.

Q: Are all the products non-toxic?
A: Yes, we only use non-toxic, bioavailable ingredients. Produced from only the finest, wildcrafted, and organic whenever possible. Free of GMOs, no harmful chemicals or toxic preservatives. Learn more about our ingredients HERE
Q: How should I store products?
A: We recommend storing our products in a cool, dark space, away from direct sunlight and tightly closed in between use.
Q: Are all the products cruelty-free and sustainable?
A: Yes. At The Golden Secrets, we are committed to natural and organic products that compliment your inner and outer beauty without harming the environment or animals. We are officially Leaping Bunny Certified.
Q: Are any of the products considered sunscreen?
A: All of our oils do have small amounts of natural sun protection factors but are not conventional sunscreens. Our Heal All Oil has demonstrated that it had a solar protection factor up to 18-22 and protects against 85% of the DNA damage caused by the sun, but is not a replacement for sunscreen.
Q: What if I don’t like the scent?
A: We hope you love your oil but we realize that scent is very personal and is determined by your natural body chemistry. Everyone's body chemistry is different and is influenced by your diet, hormones, weather, and lifestyle. This is why the same fragrance smells different on different people and during different times of the year.
After applying the oil, wait a few minutes and give it time to adapt and breathe. If you are not happy with your outcome then put it aside and try it at a later time. As the seasons change, along with your ever-evolving body chemistry, you may respond differently to the oil at a later time. Learn more HERE
Q: The scent seems different than the last time I ordered?
A: Although our formulas remain the same, each batch can be slightly different from harvest to harvest, so there may be subtle different attributes. Our small batch process ensures that you will be getting the most recently sourced ingredients to best align with your current disposition.
Q: I never received my Gua Sha ebook.
A: Our gua sha ebooks are automatically emailed to you when your order ships. Please check your spam and/or junk for firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also scan the QR code on the bottom of the box when you receive your order.
Q: My gua sha stone has weird lines on it.
A: Every stone has a unique pattern and design. Some have what we call "veins" in them and others do not. These white veins could be misinterpreted as something being wrong with your stone but it's quite the contrary. These are natural, authentic, medicinal crystals from mother earth so each stone is unique in its beauty.
Q: How long will my products last?
A: Our products last up to one year after opening but you will surely use every last drop well before then. Once open, it is important to keep your products tightly closed in between use and away from direct sunlight and stored in a cool dry place.
Q: How do I get the most out of my products?
A: We recommend using our products exclusively for a few weeks to truly harness their potential and allow your skin time to gently transition into its new, radiant and healthy state.
Q: What is the difference between Womb Wisdom Skin-Toning Oil & Goddess Shaping Body Oil?
Womb Wisdom is pregnancy and breastfeeding safe, offering gentle skin toning and nourishment for every day. On the other hand, Goddess goes beyond, enhancing skin strength and elasticity while delving deeper to detoxify. It not only minimizes stretch marks and cellulite, but it also supports overall metabolic function for a more targeted, comprehensive skin transformation.
Q: Are your products safe for kids?
A: All of our products are organic, natural, and free of toxins. Some have essential oils that can have therapeutic effects but children can also be more sensitive to certain oils so we always recommend speaking with your doctor prior if you have any concerns. Saying that we recommend our Heal All Oil for the whole family. It is essential oil-free and incredibly healing for an array of conditions from diaper rash, to cuts, burns, acne, and other ailments that a child may have. The oil is nut-derived so this goes for children that do not have any known nut allergies. We always list all of our ingredients on each product page and recommend you check that before using new products. We also have our new pregnancy safe Womb Wisdom Skin Toning Oil which is a great all-over moisturizer for sensitive skin, especially before and after outside exposure.

Q: Are your products safe for pregnancy?
A: Our Womb Wisdom Skin-Toning Body Oil is designed specifically for preganancy and all of our products are made with non-toxic, non-artificial, and 100% natural ingredients. Every person and every pregnancy is different, so we recommend discussing products with your physician. We can share that Jesse used several of her products through her pregnancy. Q: I have acne and sensitive skin. Isn’t oil going to make it worse?
A: No, our face oils are formulated with plant botanicals that specifically combat acne and boost overall skin health. Our Heal All Oil is renowned for preventing and healing current and future breakouts with a unique fatty acid called calophyllic acid and a novel antibiotic, lactone and an anti-inflammatory agent called calophyllolide it works against both p. acnes and p.granulosum--the bacteria associated with acne. It can also be used as a spot treatment in combination with our Youth Beauty Face Oil, which contains linoleic acid. People with acne tend to have a deficiency in this fatty acid in their skin so many notice more clear skin in the first week.
Many people believe that if they have dry skin, they will avoid the pimples that supposedly plague only those that have oily skin. However, the opposite is true. When your skin is not adequately hydrated, the sebum can overcompensate by releasing extra oil causing an imbalance in the skin and therefore, breakouts.
Chronically dry skin does not know how to hold onto that oil and utilize it; it will be excreted to the surface, where it can clog pores and cause pimples. This is why we say, if you are new to our organic oils there can be a transition phase as the integrity of your skin's barrier heals and pH levels balance out before unveiling your newly radiant skin.
Q: I have oily skin, isn't oil going to make it more oily?
A: This is one of the biggest misconceptions in skincare. Truth is, chemistry teaches us that LIKE DISSOLVES LIKE. Oily skin is often caused by our skin having to defend itself from abrasive and harsh ingredients, due to overuse of products. The sebaceous glands are forced to work extra hard to defend our skin and they do that by producing more oil. It can end up being a never-ending cycle when you think you need to wash it more and use even harsher products to dry it out. Our oils help to heal the delicate balance of your skin's barrier so that it can flourish once and for all.
Q: Will the face oils clog my pores?
A: Our Youth Beauty Face Oil has been meticulously formulated with the perfect ratio of essential and non-essential fatty acids (linoleic and oleic acid) to give your skin the nutrients it needs for optimal results without clogging your pores. Although higher in oleic acid, Our Heal All Oil also has calophyllic acid and calophyllolides which function as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory agents. It has a comedogenic rating of 2, meaning it's possibly one of the best oils for oily skin, clogged pores, and acne.

In an effort to make international shipping seamless, we may collect duties and import taxes at checkout, depending on the country and order value to help ensure your package is delivered safely to you with minimal unexpected fees. We recommend contacting your local customs office prior to placing your order as international shipping and customs policies vary widely from country to country and you might be charged once your package arrives in your country. Q: How long does it take to receive my order?
A: Each product we offer is made in micro-batches, hand-poured, boxed, and packaged with love and intention for ultimate experience and efficacy. Packages typically ship within 1-4 business days of your order confirmation. We are closed on weekends and holidays. You will receive your tracking information in your shipping confirmation email, which will be sent once your order is dispatched.
Q: Where is my order?
A: You will receive a confirmation email when your order is placed and again when your order has shipped. Inside both emails contain information you may need to further track your order. Please check your spam for firstname.lastname@example.org if you do not see it.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: We accept all major credit cards, Shop Pay, Afterpay, Paypal, and Apple Pay. We do not accept personal checks, prepaid debit cards, or money orders.
Q: Do you offer shipping protection?
A: For about 2% of your cart value you can add Green Shipping Protection to your order to protect your package if it is lost, stolen, or damaged plus it offsets 100% of the carbon emissions associated with your order. Offering shipping protection in a sustainable way that protects you and the planet.
Q: What if my package is damaged?
A: We are so sorry about this. Please send us photos of the damage within 72 hours of receiving your order to email@example.com and someone on our team will get back to you within 24 hours to make it right.
Q: Can I cancel my order?
A: Once your order has been placed, we are unable to make any changes to your order before we dispatch. This includes changing products, canceling the order, adding a discount code, or changing the shipping method.
Q: What if my skin doesn’t like it, can I send my product(s) back for a refund?
A: We realize that although our products are natural, organic, and non-toxic that they still might not be for everyone. 99.9% of the time our products are suitable for all skin types, but we cannot anticipate unknown allergies or body chemistry reactions to certain ingredients. As stated on our site, at checkout, and in your confirmation email, due to our artisan process we cannot accept returns of opened product.
